Shah Rukh's 'Fan Girl' Is Shahid's Heroine
Shriya Pilgaonkar to be paired opposite Shahid Kapoor in Vikramaditya Motwane's next
After a cameo with Shah Rukh Khan in Maneesh Sharma's Fan - a YRF-Red Chillies joint venture - Shriya Pilgaonkar's next Bollywood outing will see her paired opposite Shahid Kapoor in SK v/s AK, directed and co-produced by Vikramaditya Motwane.
This is not the first time Shriya, daughter of 1980s' Marathi-Hindi actor couple Sachin and Supriya, is teaming up with the Lootera director. She has already directed a couple of English short films produced by him. In fact, chances are that she may also assist the filmmaker apart from playing the leading lady.
"Shriya's father has been actively campaigning for her. He has been speaking to top production houses in Bollywood seeking credible work for his 20-something daughter," says a source close to Phantom Films, which is producing SK v/s AK.
Earlier, there were rumours that Mira Rajput, Shahid's young wife, had also been approached for a role in the film. However, there is no clarity on it, yet.
